About Us

We’re Aleksei Chebotar and Mariia Oblakova  — professional dancers, teachers, choreographers, and the owners of Euphoria Dance Club, a dance studio in Livingston, NJ.

We’ve spent much of our lives learning, training, competing, performing, teaching — and continuing to discover new sides of dance ourselves. Our experience has taught us the value of strong foundations and quality training, but also that dance is about much more than technique or achievements. It brings people confidence, creativity, connection, community, and simply the joy of moving to music.

That’s the idea behind Euphoria.

We believe great dance education should be available to everyone — regardless of age, experience, or goals. A young child discovering music and movement, a teenager finding their own style, an adult stepping onto the dance floor for the first time, a couple learning together, a social dancer looking for more confidence, and an experienced competitor all deserve thoughtful, high-quality instruction.

There is no single right reason to dance.

Some people dance for fun. Some fall in love with the social dance world. Some want to perform or compete. And for some, dance becomes a lifelong passion they never expected to find.

As teachers, our goal is to meet each dancer where they are, understand what they want from dancing, and help them move toward their goals — not ours.

Most of all, we want to share the passion for dance that has shaped our own lives and create a place where others can discover that passion for themselves.
